I just hate thinking of titles

Guitar deal still not happening...emailed the guy just now... hopes he replies soon...bought a gig bag in great faith that the deal is happening.

I especially love to see my eye-candies when they have presentation. Dressed like an OL.. HHHHOOOOOOTTTT!

Soccer was fun...first time exercising in months... i think i still like shooting between poles than hitting them.

Can't wait to jam with O.R.E. Hopefully sometime soon.

O.R.E is officially the name of the band now. Shawn approve liaoz.. O.R.E stands for Of Reverberations and Equalisations. I think easier to call will be "ore".

I am still in a good mood. Almost everything has been moving smoothly for me. When i get the guitar transaction done, I can truely say everything has been going well for me.

Went for the Drummer Circle event on sat...man..that parousia drummer is friggin power sia... especially his pedaling...single pedal but dammit...so fast... so strong the legs...haha...and the worse thing is i think he's onli like ard 23 yrs old!! plays like a 30+ 40 yr old drummer!!! lucky he's not my friend...so i haf 1 less drummer i want to kill.

I always wonder if i haf the determination to become crazy... i mean..practise like a madman. rudiments, coordinations, metronome, more metronome... etc etc...

While i want to be considered a good drummer in Singapore, can i get there? if i can get there, would i have the willpower to put in the work to get there?

Today is the best day i've had in my life! Never gone out wif a girl in a long long long long time... sang Stand by Me and Wonderwall at fish and co... wah...so friggin nervous... my legs were wobbling on stage while i was singing and i was still shaking for some time after i went down.. screwed up Stand by Me, zhao xia...forget lyrics...haha...but i think the crowd still enjoyed it and there's still bani to make my mistakes less obvious... Wonderwall was so funny... i play wrong chord progression when i wanted to start the song...haha...Bani had to lead me into the song..

anyway, i sincerely hope Michelle enjoyed the songs and today as much as i did enjoy myself! The date didn't have too many silent moments and yea...i thoroughly enjoyed myself. I'd sing for you again if u want me to..haha!

Even in sch i had fun...letting go drums in studio A... watching Adam and Bani let go drums was also fun...although i hate them when they play drums...too good already!

Yea...i wish i can haf more days like this!

O.R.E or Of Reverberations and Equalisations will most probably be the name of my band. just need to get shawn's approval den its all set! band direction not really set... wrote 1 song tt got some radiohead influence and another song that is hard rock/metal scene...well see how it goes..

jamming is so fun! watching them play reminds me of the times when me and jon used to jam in church... chemistry already there... but well...we were not as good...

everything is going well for me at the moment... Dr Brain's Directions...my own band...guitar deal..all seems to be going smoothly...

buying list for end of december will be planet waves cable and barcardi superior should there be DMAT chalet...

DVPT MUSIC DONE!!! techno/experimental stuff as said previously... i dun think its a good piece...but hey... Video module's focus should be on video and video production techniques...not whether the music is good or not...

shall start posting ads for the guitar next week...pray and hope that i can get 1 ard $200...

decided to change plans for DVPT... gonna do a techno/experimental sorta track for the MV.. got some sort of concept in my mind already... as long as the comp dun keep hanging like it did today...i guess i can get it done in 2 hrs...gonna play ard with the virtual synthesizers abit...

time seems to pass quickly and slowly at the same time... sometimes it feels like why is the day not over yet..but then again... hey...my friends are already halfway through their As...a week or 2 more and they are done..and tt's like...i didn't even notice it was A lvl season already..

finished the riff idea song... its called "Sticks Of Death"...

went to the yamaha combo shop at plaza sing to try out the Pacifica 112J guitar... other den the action which was rather high...neck feels reasonable...and i'm happy with the pickups... so i can therefore conclude that this guitar is worth to buy...

now the question is...do i buy it? or do i wait for my tele... 2nd hand Pacifica should cost no more than $250.. pros of buying means getting electric earlier...buy amp earlier...buy effects earlier...dun need to save like hell... cons means not getting my dream guitar... means i'm gonna get another guitar next time...

For now... i'm more to the buying the pacifica side...but until my next allowance comes..i dun haf the $$.. so..well... see my mood then..

oO...the K custom crashes look so nice....but didn't test them... shouldn't be lookin at these stuff when i dun haf the money or intention to buy them..zzz

i have a new song idea!! though melody is not out yet.. my first time writing something out of a riff... gotta develop it further...heavier stuff this time!

i'm seriously considering buying a cheaper guitar rather than a fender tele yet... maybe a fender is out of reach for me at the moment...i could still get it later... thinking of the yamaha pacifica 112 strat copy...but haven tried it yet...gotta go down to the stores to try 1... if they feel good and sound reasonably good... i guess maybe i should get it then.. i think 2nd hand for tt is easy to find..

went home after school...5.30 in the afternn...decided to play drums for 1/2 hr... mars volta is really fun... weird drum beats for me to try... though i still can't play 1 complete song...

went for first jamming session with my own band...we haven gave ourselves a name yet...benita, nic and shawn met each other for the first time... i thought it was pretty cool of them... cos there was not so much silence and i'm not the only one talking...so i guess they've kinda warmed up to each other in a way already...

jamming went better den expected...guess we more or less went through our first original.. =)... Although Shawn didn't really know the song...but she gamely tried to sing along and although she changed abit of the melody..but i thought that it was cooler than the one i wrote!

Benita's drumming impressed me... she played better than i expected her to play... although sometimes when she play until high will kind of forget to bring the mood back down...but i guess its partly because she's not really familiar with the song too!

Overall i think we all did pretty good for a first time...though i would say we are still very very raw...but i guess its nothing more jamming sessions together and more exposure cannot cure...

went to watch asianbeats semi-finals at Youth Park... Youthwreck is a good band...as expected of any band bani gets himself involved in... their music was nice...got metal influence and some other stuff...dun really know how to describe it... anyway... i liked the way they ended the song... bani's drumming was as usual..great drumming there!!

bani's friend..i think he was called Rifai... said that imagine what could happen to Bani's drumming a few years down the road... could be 1 of singapore's top drummer... yea..i sorta agreed with him.. cos he's arguably the best drummer i've seen under the age of 25...

there was another band...forget wat the name...i thought was pretty cool too... played some fusion stuff...got kompang and stuff... rock fusion with cultural malay music maybe? well..whatever it is...they impressed me..

gonna jam on tuesday...can't wait for it to come!! wonder what will happen...

decided to do soft reposition of my drumset... cos i realised that the positioning of my toms were really quite crap... so took the opportunity to wipe my drums also...amazing amounts of dust on my drums man... i almost choked on them...

positioning the right tom was a real killer...i think the yamaha tom racking system on my drumset is quite screwed up... no matter how i adjust and adjust and adjust... i still can't get the position right... and i'm no perfectionist.. no need for my right tom to be excactly where i want it to be...just somewhere nearby will do... but no...it had to be so far away from it...that even a chin chai person like me cannot accept...

so...after all the struggles wif that tom...i've decided to remove it... so now my set has onli 1 rack tom and a floor tom... sigh... guess its a whole new setup to adjust to... but..the removal of the tom did create more space in the area... and that means i haf space for more CYMBALS!!!...*evil grin*.. maybe another crash...maybe a china...or maybe a.......

i've decided to accept what Spicer has been telling us to do... I'm gonna haf a short structured practise routine for the instruments i'm playing(i.e drums & guitar). so i'm learning the scales on the guitar now...so far onli figured out the major and harmonic minors... 2 octaves...will figure out more stuff in time to come.. i've made a breakthrough... i've downloaded a metronome so that i can use it while i practise my scales...maybe can use it when i practise my drums...

i hate playing with a metronome...its darn stressful...and u can tell straight away if ur time went awry... but well... i've decided to adopt a rather anime character concept...where i'm willing to do anything to become stronger...in this case better...

yay...gonna jam wif my band for the first time next week!
