I just hate thinking of titles

i can't drum metal...suck at double pedalling... today's jamming with nic and gang has proved so...i can't double pedal shit... well...anyway...when i passed by davis guitar today...they had this sexy looking fender telecaster in the display... dark woody colour...would be perfect if the finish wasn't glossy and all..just matt wood....wahh!!!!! haha....and the music theme aka ranking peninsular brach has brought in the dd3 and dd6...but the prices dun seem different from yamaha... maybe delays shud be bought 2nd hand...my budget is tight...

and i hear news of thom yorke releasing a solo album in july!!!! MUST BUY!!!!!!!!!

did recording today.... i am happy with the amount of work done today... Recording for the O.R.E demo cum remt b-side assignment is done...just need to tweak and mix the drums in.... the rest of it is nicely done liao... Most of the A-side song is recorded too...just left vocals and a guitar solo... i think less den 6 more hrs of studio time and i should be able to complete my work...

spicer's gig tml...last minute as usual...but well... i dun mind playing... hope it goes better den i expect tomorrow...

oh...i found out that the line6 liquaflange can do the random step thing....haha...can just whack 1 note and let it do the shredding for you....hahaha.....cheat mode...

went to town with mel and jiayi after school...we watched poseidon... dam funny sia... movie action was more or less the standard stuff you could expect...but jiayi kept on screaming and mel kept asking her to shut up during the show...couldn't help but laugh... not bad sia...9.50 for double entertainment...

the dd5 on the boss website looks cool sia... got tap tempo and some sample function.... if the price is somewhat similar to the dd6...i think i might just get it...

tremolo pedal also shiok...after playing with adam's pulsar at the last gig in school...wah...got GAS for it liao... maybe after the delay, an overdrive, i'll get a tremolo pedal... looking at the line6's tap tremolo now...but the video load so slow...

i feel like i need to play drums with good musicians to bring my drums to another level... i'm not playing enough drums.... maybe i should find some good bands and audition for the drummer role...

saw michael spicer's minimoog...even played with it abit... i have gas for it...haha....if i was rich i think i would just buy it... its like a crazy synth...so many sounds can create in real time...

my sis is engaged...3 days of she being the centre of everything...friday night official engagement ceremony cum dinner.... saturday dad's prawn mee at paternal Grandma's place...and tonight pot luck at maternal grandma's place... though i didn't do much... i still feel tired...haha...don't know why...

school still feels like it just started... and when you think about it...in 3 weeks or so 1 term is over.... either its really slow moving in school or i'm just not settling fast enough...

i have yet another new song idea...i think its rather cool...but maybe sound a bit too radiohead...anyhow...if i don't come up with a similar melody to a particular radiohead song...i guess its gonna be alright...

helped arep in school with his remt...his song i should say is a pretty nice jazzy chill out music... seriously good... that guys has some pretty nice ideas in his head...

i wanna continue with my remt work...guess i'm gonna book the studio next week or something...

bumped into xy in school today... pretty unexpected although i know she's in SP...

jamming today...went pretty okay... my new idea sounds pretty cool...think i'm gonna use some sort of a minimalistic approach and let the bass be the lime light...maybe just minimal singing and lots of jamming....POST INDIE!!!! haha...

my heater is finally back!!!! so shiok to bathe with warm water.....that is what bathing should feel!!!!!

learnt a couple of new stuff in remt this week....pretty interesting... music theory is tough! most mind draining thing i ever did since i came to poly....

now i haf songs to practise...something better to do than mapling...haha....songs that i need to practise for graduation gig... those songs so high...dunno how i'm gonna reach it... maybe haf to come up wif some tricks liao..haha!

did recording for adam today.... another O.R.E demo more or less done....haha.... 2 free demos is pretty nice... now all we need to do is mix it nicely and maybe re-record 1 or 2 stuff... i listened to the song for my project again...and i realised Melodie and gang did a pretty good job that day...haha... i kind of like the sound....i guess now i just need to check and pan things here and there and maybe adjust the levels...woo....

main midi recording i have no idea what to write....looking to post-rock for inspiration... 4 midi tracks....i want to make midi the backbone so i don't have to export the wave files into cubase and do the midi..den export the midi files out into protools to mix... i figured if i used the midi tracks as the backbone...i just do cubase...export to protools..and finish everything there.... easier it seems...but how to write such midi backboned song which still can include 4 more acoustic instruments and a vocals is something i need to think hard about...haha...

remt tomorrow...maybe i can start on the midi!

i have learnt that feedback, the knobs on the rat, the phase 90, and the volume and tone knobs on the guitar can be great fun...

radiohead has a hidden amazing shiok song released in the My Iron Lung mini album called the trickster....amazingly shiok!

i have been introduced to a band called yeah yeah yeahs... amazing band i say...i love the song maps...
