new church building at bukit batok has a Pearl Masters kit with i think paiste cymbals..no ideas which paiste series it was from... tts for the big auditorium..or sanctuary as its called...

for the chapel..smaller room..it has a yamaha maple custom... toms 10,12,14,16...20 kick and a 14 snare... cymbals yet to arrive.... i'm gonna play on this kit man!!! haha...i hope the cymbals justify the kit! best if K series...haha...

from what i heard from the tracks they put up on purevolume... Muse's new album sounds dam 80s... wonder what made them make an album like that... but i kind of like City of Delusion....

i got into the musical... under michael spicer's band...which includes for now james, clef, me, yuan jie, the jazz band drummer... its harder than i thought it would be...the jazz band drummer didn't come today..so i dun know how working with him would be like...but from early signs today..it seems that all is going to work out fine...

jamming today was GREAT! i love the new songs...though it came out totally different from what i had in mind...but...haha...kena all the way!.... benita today also impressed me...the feel all there...except for the little timing problem... woo... i feel like this band got potential to make it! yes...we can make it!!!!!

3 days of baybeats is over... friday watched WGB, saturday watched furniture, today watched page and concave scream. Page was pretty fun to watch...bani let go the showmanship, dhalif let go the shredding.... concave scream was nice! haha...and they played the only 2 concave scream songs i know! shiok!! haha....

back to school tml.... back to work... but wednesday jamming...wheee!!!!!

went for 8th granduncle's funeral cum cremation today.... the weather today was perfect for the event... raining..but not heavy...just keeping the whole mood grey and dark and kind of sad... then another thought came to my head... deloused in the crematorium.... that thought just had to happen...knowing its typical me...

anyway..back to grand uncle...went to see him last week in hospital... he was pretty active and all... i thought to myself...this man is still far from dying... and this week i'm at his funeral...

world cup finals in an hr... italy are the favourites... although i think the teams are more even than pple imagine... france have the footballing god zidane and very potent striker thierry henry and italy haf crazy gattuso and brick wall cannavaro... i think luca toni kind of sucks although he scored 30+ goals in the Serie A. i have no idea who's gonna win it... and i don't support either teams...i just wish for a totally thrilling match...

for the moment...i have rediscovered the indie in me... listening to lots of bloc party, arctic monkeys, we are scientists, cardigans again...and the new band i'm really into is yeah yeah yeahs...
life is not just about radiohead for now...

SP musical's musicians audition is on wednesday...if there's no GEMs involved in this...should i still go for it?

Last minute of the last minutes...

Gig today was full of last minutes... 1st off..the not so last minute part...i learnt Nuno's Gravity in 1 night... and the super last minute thing was due to delays on the part of graduation, Adam had to go for work, so we had to make new arrangement for our set of Bloc party and Foo Fighters...

I am pretty happy with the results that We've pulled off today... though Helicopter sounded a bit empty... Foo fighter's drum part the chorus wanted to follow the cd..aiya..but i nv learn..so struggled abit... and gravity...haha...Let go..that 1 i drum until i myself shiok..haha....

Spicer sounded happy with us...quoting, "We're all there!". So he so pro liao happy with us, i also happy with today's performance..

To conclude lessons learnt from today... Who the hell needs to practise together?! Just learn your own parts can liao!!!!! hahahahaha

Yes...and drumming is fun!!! i wanna play drums more!!! and when i get to play drums for a serious band... i wanna buy cymbals!!!!

my sis's keeping tabs on my blog...scary... she has a good track record of pao toh-ing the things i do to my mom... hur hur... but well...nothing to hide about both our lives at the moment...she's struggling to get married while i'm a lifeless person who talks about gear all the time(over here anyway)
