I just hate thinking of titles

Went with james to watch syawla evol today... their set didn't appeal too well cause i think DI electric guitars don't work... and it was threatening to rain...so i guess the circumstances didn't do them justice...

however..the band that played before them... had a killer bassist... girl some more... i think she can shred...cause the lines that she played were pretty difficult.. and she didn't break a sweat to play them...looks so easy... and her slap pop also dam killer... and the way she rocks out also dam cool... hardly move 1...but not stiff and such...shiok... seemed like all the elements were right to make her seem hot...okay..i think she was hot...i could hardly take my eyes of her during the set... i want her to have my kids!!!! hahahahaha!!!!

now fantasizing about the next You And Whose Army? gig... if we have a long enough set... i think i wanna open the set with Optimistic without saying anything first... kind of like..."Test, test" drummer counts in... hahahaha....

REMT test today....1st time sitting behind the mixer in a live sound situation... pretty cool experience... think we did okay..so no worries about grades... it was fun watching everyone setting up and tearing down and playing... especially clef's group...got shredding...haha... brightened up that period of time which went kind of bland...

Booked studios for You And Whose Army? demo recording...i hope we get the slots... seriously... Tim pls don't fail on us... 3 songs... can set up myspace... time to network and pr and build contacts for the band abit... and hopefully we can make it before i enter the service...

I am loving indus gendi's new ideas... i love the direction it seems to be heading... its making me listen to bloc party and we are scientists all over again! my new drumming influence shall be matt tong!!!! =)

watched the sevenfalls gig at esplanade yesterday... good band... good bassist...

which leads me to think... there's only one more week of school left... and its a pretty busy week... Business to me being the most stressful project to do... so many things not done yet...MIDI shouldn't be too much of a problem... maybe except for the test... anyway... I am going to try and work out a timeslot and book the recording studio the week after next... You And Whose Army? ddddemos!!!! we should exploit the free use of the recording studios while we still can...

Allowance is coming... thinking of buying tower of power tix... anybody wanna go?!

jamming today was nice...though not an on form day playing wise...but working on the new song was damn fun... most challenging so far... but i think we all did a good job... the song sounds rather there already... just lacking more noise in my opinion... LAPTOP!!!!! ahahahaha.... and it doesn't sound thom yorke!!! weeee!!! this is the most impressive part of it... me and my thom yorkish riffs...and the band helps me un-thom yorke it... coolness to the max..i loves it...

target this week is not to run any form of scales on the guitar until next week... trying to shred is destroying me....

i find this video awe inspiring... nvm the technicality..what a beautiful song it is... if i can come up with 1/2 as busy as it and incorporate vocals and maybe the rest of You And Whose Army? in...i think it'll be very very very cool..

doodling or what i call playing random stuff on the guitar is fun... i'm slowly getting ideas on the guitars again...though not really useable ones yet...but yea...i feel the progress... i'm thinking of getting a filter pedal after CNY... Micro Qtron most probably...or a BYOC filter...

i think they're paying for attachment... cool... there's hope for a tele this year... 2 more weeks of school to go... MUST is over!!!! Akoustic science to go...biology type test...gonna cram somewhat a couple of days before the test... MIDI...no idea what is michael gonna test...as usual...

Bought Fever To Tell by Yeah Yeah Yeahs.... shiokness to the max.... americans doing indie...sounding a little brit at times...but its all cool! i'm a fan now!

Term's only 3 weeks long...all my assignments haven't do yet...GG

made a few discoveries today...

1. fra-foa albums are out of print. no wonder i can't find them... sad..
2. fra-foa was radiohead influenced...mikami chisako was radiohead influenced...=)
3. the observatory and leslie low created myspace on 1/3/2007. this is something i thought they would never do. but well..i guess if you can't beat them..join them...

i'm starting to like hiromi more and more cause of the fact that she still very much keeps her japanese influence in her music... bandmates angmoh, studied in berklee..but music still sound quite japanese... songs like green tea farm and kung-fu world champion are examples... i think at least for this period of time..she can be listed among my influences...

oh yea..i think i forgot to thank Azlan in my last post...so here it is..Thank you Azlan for helping us with this...really appreciate it...

new year...1st event....auditioned for SP's jam and hop.... both bands seem to do pretty decent for the auditions and i would believe we both would get in...

i wanna debut a new song for You And Whose Army? for the next gig..which most probably would be jam and hop... i wanna record demo for You And Whose Army?... yea..we'll do it soon...
