cinematic orchestra was great. great music, great performance. a little too jazz for me but still a great show! love the drummer! and the coolest part of the band is that the leader plays the least. would watch them if they come again. anytime!
N*E*R*D was awesome! the whole gig was like a party. pharell is a great performer. high energy stuff throughout! the band was great too! 2 drummers, bloody tight! i wish i could play drums like a black man. more gospelchops.com hahaha....
inch made my day by saying she doesn't lend her guitar to just anyone. hur hur.
still trying to get in music making mode again. am excited by the prospects of what happens this time round.

gig at nus went pretty well i guess. gave me the confidence that we can do acoustic sets. thanks to all who came and inch who lent me her taylor. 1st time i've ever used something so good and err...expensive... hur hur.... i can't wait to hear the recording. want to hear how A wish to sounded.
life has been good to me. despite how much i hate my ns vocation, i still feel happy overall. i have band members who are still very interested in the band, i still am able to do music, i have a girlfriend who loves me very much.
i feel that i'm going to get my 'music mode' back again. i feel that songs are going to come again. i need to get my mbox! mbox! mbox! mbox! i will get it!!

theme for the day: the receiving end.
remind myself to make something out of that.
listened back to the 2 newer yawa songs. i feel a sense of excitement about it. i need to immerse myself in music once again. this time without the computer or a musical instrument by my side. back to pen and paper and replaying it so many times in my brain that i can remember when i get home.
today was magical. i am starting to feel really optimistic about the future.
